The Guyana leathers are here. We're so excited!

The leathers from Guyana, South America have arrived! They have been on the market for several weeks - and they are getting a LOT of attention!!! Stamped sheepskin, natural untreated caiman - the exotic relative of the alligator, and more South American leathers, all Kupendiza leathers are the byproduct of food production. No animals were killed for their skins.   And yet the natural beauty cannot be denied. Beautiful and affordable, check them out at Kupendiza Collections. All are 100% hand made by the women of Hannah's Leather & Crafts near Georgetown, Guyana. (More about these ladies later!)

End-of-Summer SALE on all Kupendiza TOTE BAGS!

When's the best time to shop? At the end of the season, of course! I think my mother told me that. It was the 1950s, mind you. I'm sure today's true fashionistas do no such thing! (Or at least they don't admit it.)  But for the budget-conscious among us - whether we have to be or not! - it's important to get the biggest bang for our buck - and some of the most glamorous women we know do it really well on a shoestring. Which we think is impressive. It's a game! So please take home one of these colorful totes from African Women & Youth Initiative! And...

Importing From Africa

Importing from Africa. Glamorous, eh? (Luckily, the gorgeous bags inside were in perfect shape.) It was expensive to get this box to the United States from Kenya! The cost of shipping is Kupendiza's biggest business challenge in this start-up phase. When we solve this one, a great deal more of the proceeds will be available to fund our partners' missions. Which is why we're in business, folks! Ideas? Leads? Please send them our way!
