This bag is one of the Kupendiza classics. Though it was made in Kenya, we've named it for a village on the East Coast of Guyana in South America. Its understated elegance and cream-colored borders framing panels of black wood beads make it a fit for the executive suite or a week at the summer house.

This bag was hand made in Nakuru, Kenya, by the women members of the African Women and Youth Initiative (AWYI). The AWYI collective was created to support the Future African Leader's Project, providing food, shelter, education, and healthcare for a group of orphans in the city of Nakuru.
